Note that experience and knowledge in this area are vital • Meet with Customers and discuss their requirements for a point of supply • Preparing tender/quotations to customers with client schedules and supplementary information, submitting tender documents and negotiating contracts prior to award. • Collating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. • Compiling detailed requirements for tender: labour rates, project management, supervision, plant and equipment, preliminary and general, margin, preparing tags and clarifications. • Ensuring that projects are completed within agreed timeframes and within budgeted expenditure. • Coordinating with customers, Omexom field staff, and sub-contractors to ensure project success. • Compiling complete work packages, which include design notes, working drawings, specifications, material requirements, work instructions, resource requirements, work schedules, and all necessary approvals. • Ensuring all documentation required by customers is completed, e.g., as-built drawings, asset records. • Auditing works to ensure compliance with contract documents, design and construction standards, acts, regulations and network operating standards, industry standards, and safety requirements. Qualifications and Skills To be considered, you will have: • Sound knowledge of Overhead and underground experience in the electrical distribution network for up to 11kV, preferably with field experience • Current NZEC Practising Licence • Experience in reading, understanding, and reviewing single line drawings and control schematics • Knowledge of electrical regulations, industry requirements, contracting procedures and Contract Law. As a Principal Cybersecurity Developer at DEFEND, you will play a hands-on role in designing, building, and delivering advanced cybersecurity applications that protect our customers’ environments and enhance DEFEND’s security product offerings. You will lead the development of secure, scalable solutions while actively contributing high-quality code, setting technical direction for complex security projects, and providing guidance to the wider Platform Engineering team.
