In this position, you’ll get to carry out estimating services to support the company's business plan and achieve Omexom’s market share of work at a planned profit margin or better, making a real impact. The successful candidates will work on key responsibilities like: • Scoping overhead distribution lines (Low Voltage and High Voltage up to 11kV), and coming up with solutions for providing a point of supply to Customers. Note that experience and knowledge in this area are vital • Meet with Customers and discuss their requirements for a point of supply • Preparing tender/quotations to customers with client schedules and supplementary information, submitting tender documents and negotiating contracts prior to award. • Collating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. • Compiling detailed requirements for tender: labour rates, project management, supervision, plant and equipment, preliminary and general, margin, preparing tags and clarifications. • Ensuring that projects are completed within agreed timeframes and within budgeted expenditure. • Coordinating with customers, Omexom field staff, and sub-contractors to ensure project success. • Compiling complete work packages, which include design notes, working drawings, specifications, material requirements, work instructions, resource requirements, work schedules, and all necessary approvals. • Ensuring all documentation required by customers is completed, e.g., as-built drawings, asset records. • Auditing works to ensure compliance with contract documents, design and construction standards, acts, regulations and network operating standards, industry standards, and safety requirements. Qualifications and Skills To be considered, you will have: • Sound knowledge of Overhead and underground experience in the electrical distribution network for up to 11kV, preferably with field experience • Current NZEC Practising Licence • Experience in reading, understanding, and reviewing single line drawings and control schematics • Knowledge of electrical regulations, industry requirements, contracting procedures and Contract Law. As a Principal Cybersecurity Developer at DEFEND, you will play a hands-on role in designing, building, and delivering advanced cybersecurity applications that protect our customers’ environments and enhance DEFEND’s security product offerings. You will lead the development of secure, scalable solutions while actively contributing high-quality code, setting technical direction for complex security projects, and providing guidance to the wider Platform Engineering team. This role thrives in complex environments, translating challenging security needs into practical, high-quality outcomes that deliver real value to DEFEND and our customers.  Key tasks include: Leading the design and implementation of advanced cybersecurity applications and secure systems. Writing and reviewing high-quality, secure, and maintainable code. Defining and maintaining security and development standards, ensuring all solutions align with industry best practices. Translating complex security requirements into technical specifications and working solutions. Mentoring developers on secure coding practices and performing code reviews. Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design and deliver integrated security solutions. Requirements 10+ years in technology roles, with at least 3+ years in cybersecurity and leading complex security-focused development projects. Proven experience designing and implementing secure applications using multiple programming languages (C#, Java, Python, Go). Deep knowledge of security vulnerabilities, threat modelling, and mitigation techniques. Experience with designing and implementing API integrations between security tools and platforms. Practical experience with cloud security across major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Advanced knowledge of authentication systems, cryptography, and access control mechanisms. Experience with security testing tools and methodologies (SAST, DAST, penetration testing). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines incorporating security practices. Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR). Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into clear outcomes for customers. A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor and guide other developers in secure coding and cybersecurity practices. Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP) are desirable. Job Description AFFCO is currently seeking a passionate Improvement Engineer to join their Engineering team. As an Improvement Engineer, you will lead projects from the scoping stage through to the delivery of new or upgraded assets. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including: Identifying and delivering automation and improvement projects Enhancing engineering and asset maintenance processes, improving reliability and uptime Be involved in engineering procurement The ideal candidate will have project management experience, driving project from scoping stage to delivery of new or amended assets. The ideal candidate will also have some experience with asset maintenance processes. It includes identification and delivery of automation projects. Tasks will include costing, preparation of payback and, depending on size and complexities of the project, project management of the install through to commissioning. You will also need to manage any additional secondary effects to ensure the smooth running of our plants for all our front-line plant process workers. You are to work with both our trades and operations teams to ensure your projections align with their needs. You will also work closely with contractors to scope and tender each project. Key objectives: Identify and propose effective solutions toward the improvement of processing capabilities and process optimization and utilization of plant machinery. Prepare cost saving business cases which include detailed capex preparation, project timelines, cost quotations and payback calculations. Development of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure machinery / product is being utilised effectively and is fit for purpose. Effectively implement change management processes while striving for continuous improvement. Support sites with engineering and maintenance improvements This position is primarily located at Horotiu Head Office in the Waikato region, however, does require frequent domestic travel to sites based on the projects and improvements you are assigned. Experience working with marketing attribution systems (e.g. Criteo) to measure and optimise campaign performance. Solid understanding of event tracking principles (client-side and server-side). Confident using JavaScript/TypeScript for implementing marketing tools, tag configurations, and broader engineering integration work. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — you can work effectively with marketers, engineers, and product teams. Familiarity with consent frameworks and data privacy tools (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). Bonus if you have: Experience with data warehousing tools such as BigQuery or Snowflake. Exposure to Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and identity stitching concepts.
