We have an exciting opportunity to join a small team of professionals at a stunning lodge, located 55 minutes north of Auckland city. This is a perfect opportunity for any candidate with prior admin, food & beverage and/or housekeeping experience. If you enjoy working hands-on across multiple departments and you’re passionate about creating memorable experiences for others, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make your mark. The successful applicant will have a true passion for delighting guests and offering a memorable experience tailored to the needs of each guest. The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills and must work well in a team environment. We have Causal and Part time roles available. To be successful you will require: • Prior experience in Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and/or Reception an advantage • Good written and verbal communication skills • Excellent administrative skills • Previous experience in a customer service • Ability to think of your feet and work by yourself • NZ resident or applicable Visa This is a fantastic opportunity to allow your level of experience and passion for the industry to shine in an exceptional and remote location. An exciting opportunity is available for a part-time Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Auckland’s 126-bedroom hotel, SOHO. Inspired by art deco fused with contemporary comfort for the ultimate urban escape, SOHO is located in Mount Roskill, just 15 minutes from the CBD. We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Assistant to join our Maintenance team. This is a part-time, permanent position. With a minimum of 16 hours a week. The Maintenance Assistant will assist the Maintenance Manager to carry out maintenance operations within the hotel, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained, functional, well presented and safe for guests and staff. Responsibilities: - Carry out the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and basic equipment repair. - To work as a team with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all areas of the hotel are well presented, safe and well maintained. - To work with the Maintenance Manager on preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and issues, ensuring timely resolution to maintain guest satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with local, state, and regulations related to building codes, safety standards, and environmental laws. - Assist with regular safety inspections and audits, addressing any issues promptly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Requirements of the role include: • Previous experience in a handyman/maintenance role in a hotel is preferred • Honesty and the ability to work well in a team environment.
