Join a well-established plumbing company where your skills will directly contribute to the smooth running of a fast-paced, hands-on business. We’re looking for an Office Manager with a strong professional presence who can confidently handle everything from management accounts to job administration—while working with a team of skilled tradespeople and strong personalities. Key Responsibilities • Financial Management: Prepare end-of-month journals, assist with management accounts, and provide financial reports for the accountant. • Office & Workflow Oversight: Manage invoicing, WIP tracking, debtor oversight, and supplier price imports. Support and coordinate daily workflow across office staff. • Job & Project Coordination: Open/close jobs in the system, ensure accurate documentation, and monitor job costs and WIP. Liaise with payroll on leave, pay, and KiwiSaver matters. • Systems & Administration: Oversee office systems, subscriptions, and IT hardware. Maintain organised records and compliance files. We’re Looking For Someone With: * Experience in an office management or administration role, ideally within a trade or construction environment * Strong financial literacy, including confidence with a job management system that is fully integrated to General Ledger * The ability to implement new systems and processes to improve operational efficiency * Professional communication skills – able to work collaboratively with directors, field staff, and suppliers * High level of attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving ability * The confidence and tact to work with strong personalities in a dynamic team setting
