A divisive and controversial release at the time, it has developed a cult following over the years and provided the basis for Nikon's later retro-style mirrorless cameras such as the Nikon Zfc and Zf. This special edition kit includes the retro-styled 50mm f/1.8 G to match the camera. Purchased used in February 2023 thinking I would get into using a retro-style DSLR, but I ended up just using my film cameras when I wanted that experience. APPEARANCE Excellent cosmetic condition, minimal signs of use. A few small marks on the bottom plate. OPTICS Viewfinder and focusing screen are clean and clear. Some slight wear on the eyepiece coating. LENS Glass is clean and clear, excellent working condition.
