Art Nouveau Sapphire and natural pearl- 10ct gold

Welcome to Chic Antique. We believe that all beautiful handmade and heirloom pieces need to be preserved and loved. Our pieces are lovingly restored and all come in a luxury velvet box. A gorgeous lavalier with a 2.5mm ceylon sapphire and natural seed pearls pendant circa 1900. The sapphire is claw set and the natural pearls are bead set and surrounded by mili grain. The curved motifs and mili grain are typical of the art nouveau period. These were referred to as lavaliers and worn with a silk ribbon not a chain. This is from the USA so is stamped 10K. This piece has had a small repair at the top of the sapphire setting so I am listing at $1 reserve. Total length including the bale is 27 mm and the width is 17mm. Will come with the gold dipped chain 45cm long that is in the photo, and in the gorgeous velvet box pictured. will be sent by fully insured signed courier anywhere in New Zealand for free.
