About the Role: As Site Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring each project runs smoothly, safely, and on time. You'll work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to deliver high-quality results that align with company standards. We are currently looking to hire several Site Foremen or Working Supervisors who have experience in geotechnical and civil construction, specifically foundations and slope stabilisation. The roles are primarily Auckland-based, but the successful applicants will be required to travel around New Zealand as per projects requirements and we would be open to discussing FIFO options for people not based in Auckland who have the right experience. About the role An on site and hands on role, you will balance between assisting the team with the physical works and keeping things rolling on site. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will arrange, direct, and monitor on-site construction activities to ensure works meet the projects commercial, quality, and environmental objectives. Planning and programming of project works, organising materials, plant, and subcontractors to meet project requirements. Provide training and mentorship to junior site staff and guide their development. Maintain high Health & Safety standards and ensure others on site adhere to good Health & Safety practices. Managing and completing daily site diaries, Quality and Health & Safety paperwork. About you A natural leader, you will lead by example, getting stuck in with the team and guiding / training junior staff as you work Experience in the anchoring and drilling in civil construction industry Full, clean NZ Class 1 driver license Have New Zealand Residency or a valid work visa Be physically fit.
