This is your chance to grow your career within our 'big box' format store.   About the Role With around 150 team members, MEGA Petone needs a highly driven individual with strong leadership and influencing skills. This role will see you take on responsibility for achieving maximum profitability, growth, and efficiency across all operational areas of the store. Leading and working alongside the team, you will ensure the primary focus is customer service with other key aspects to include stock management, maintaining store standards, operational efficiency, and health & safety. Reporting to the General Manager, we are looking for someone with: * A proven track record in retail leadership * A passion for customer service excellence and the ability to drive a customer-first culture * Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead change and implement improvements * The capability to motivate, coach, and empower teams to perform at their best * An understanding of retail drivers including inventory management, margin, and sales performance This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires a high level of adaptability, resilience, and a strong commitment to delivering customer excellence. You will be expected to demonstrate sound judgement, lead with integrity, and foster collaboration across teams.
