Mechanical Fitter (Production Environment) Are you a practical, hands-on Mechanical Fitter looking for a dynamic role that offers variety and daily challenge? The Role: You’ll take ownership of the maintenance and smooth operation of a wide range of plant equipment and utilities, from HVAC systems and boilers to air compressors and cleanroom technology. It’s a role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems, and working across both mechanical and light electrical systems. This is not a narrow, repetitive job—you’ll be the go-to for everything maintenance-related across the site, helping drive uptime, performance, and compliance in a GMP-regulated setting. You’ll Be Involved In: - Ensuring the availability and performance of all mechanical/electrical equipment on site - Diagnosing faults and managing reactive and planned maintenance - Coordinating contractors and overseeing project timelines and standards - Leading continuous improvement initiatives and site upgrades - Ensuring all work is completed in line with GMP, SOPs, and Health & Safety requirements What We’re Looking For: - Trade-qualified fitter with +/-5 years’ experience in a similar environment - An electrical service ticket (EST/EAS/EWRB) or experience in electrical systems and equipment will be a great advantage - Broad experience across HVAC, pumps, hydraulics, generators, air systems, and more - Background in a GMP, pharmaceutical, food, or clean production environment is preferred. Alternatively, any production environment is essential. - A true generalist—adaptable, curious, and technically resourceful - Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously - We need someone who is a resident/citizen or has an open work visa.
