Our products are proudly made in our world class ‘Bread Quarters’ in Upper Hutt, using only the finest ingredients and baked the traditional way – over an open flame. As our successful Kiwi business grows, new employees are joining a motivated, close-knit team of people, with the goal of making the best wraps and tortillas in the world. With busy operations, we are looking to add a Production Team Leader to our afternoon shift team, working from Monday - Friday. Hours of work will be 12:00am to 9:30pm Responsibilities: You will oversee the daily operations of the production line, providing hands-on leadership and support to both day and night shift Production Operators. This supervisory role includes training, mentoring, and guiding team members to ensure smooth and efficient production. As the company continues to grow and innovate, you’ll also be involved in maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, requiring a proactive and resilient approach. Additional responsibilities include managing shift handovers and preparing detailed production reports.    Requirements: As a Team Leader you will be someone who works well with others, is comfortable training a team, while also having the ability to work autonomously to oversee day-to-day production.  Your role will be a hands-on one, including management of high-speed equipment.  In addition, you are expected to have the following skills and experience, 2+ year’s production leadership experience in the food manufacturing industry Proficiency in operation of high-tech machinery including troubleshooting Report writing and organisational skills Solid communication and interpersonal skills with all departments and levels (operators through to senior management) Positive attitude and ability to motivate staff Continuous improvement, planning, and analytical skills A relevant formal qualification will be advantageous Benefits:  This is an exciting and rare career opportunity with an innovative and successful NZ food manufacturer with global goals.
