As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the safe set up, operation, and maintenance of production machinery to meet daily production goals. CNC Machine Operator - Southland region

CNC Machine Operators required throughout the Southland region! We're currently seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators based in the Southland region.  If you're reliable, motivated, and ready to take on new challenges, we want to hear from you! The normal duties to be performed comprise all activities related to preparation, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to perform variety of functions for productionincluding but not limited to: Duties include: * Reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders or mechanical drawings to determine specification and requirement of the task. * Setting up the machine by translating instructions into computer commands for the machine to perform the correct function. * Setting up and installing tools and attachments. * Calculating, measuring, and verifying all dimension and requirements. * Preparing and loading raw materials onto the machine. * Operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling. * Doing a run-test to determine if the machine is in the correct specifications. * Checking and maintaining machinery regularly to ensure functionality. * Monitoring the machines while on operation and make any necessary adjustments to produce the desired results as per plan. * Taking inventory by checking stocks and materials to determine what needs ordering. * Documenting machine actions by completing machine logs and productions. * Keep the workspace, equipment & tools clean. * Maintain health and safety requirements. * All other duties as assigned. Pay conditions: Minimum $30.00 per hour to a maximum of $35.00 per hour depending on experience Hours of work: A minimum of 30 hours of work is guaranteed. Night Shift Process Technician

Proper Crisps is looking for a motivated individual to join our production team. We have a full-time position available in our Factory on our night-time shift. The shift is over a five-day week, (Monday to Thursday 10pm to 5.15am; Friday 10pm to 6.30am - 35 hours), with standard shift hours totalling approx. 35 hrs per week. We want someone who is a night owl and happy to work these hours. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and duties will include, but not limited to, trimming of potatoes and vegetables, grading, packing, quality control and cleaning. Ideally you will have some technical skills and be keen to learn and understand the process required to produce the best product; ensure the correct reassembly and programme changes of all mechanical and electronic devices prior to operation; adhere to documentation and quality control and have the ability to understand and work within the process parameters. For the right person there is opportunity for growth and advancement in the role. You will also be responsible for observing and reporting / communicating any safety and / or quality issues during operational processes. All our staff actively participate in, and contribute to, the team’s directives towards operational excellence and we encourage individual and team development.
