We are working alongside a Tier 1 civil contractor delivering high-quality infrastructure and construction solutions across New Zealand. We are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator proficient in TIG and Stick welding to join our team and contribute to a variety of structural and civil works projects - these positions will be based on site. Key Responsibilities * Perform TIG and Stick welding on structural steel, pipework, and other components as required for civil infrastructure projects. * ASME Qualified welders are highly desirable * 6G TIG Welding for stainless steel is also preferred * Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment from technical drawings and site specifications. * Ensure work is completed to required specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. * Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on welding equipment and tools. * Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures on-site and in the workshop. * Assist in site installations and repairs as required. Requirements: * New Zealand trained Welder/Fabricator * Minimum 3 years Welding/Fabricating experience in New Zealand * Perform TIG and Stick welding on structural steel, pipework, and other components as required for civil infrastructure projects. * Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment from technical drawings and site specifications. * Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans. * Ability to fabricate, cut, and weld structural steel and pipe to civil engineering specifications. * Familiar with working in both workshop and on-site environments. * Strong understanding of welding safety and PPE requirements. * Relevant welding qualifications or certifications (e.g. AS/NZS 1554 or equivalent). We are offering permanent, and fixed-term roles in the Auckland region. We will only consider candidates who have New Zealand based welding experience.
