Nestled a block back from the dunes of Wellington’s iconic Lyall Bay, our onsite bar has become a pillar of the bay community, winning Outstanding Regional Venue at the 2024 Wellington Hospitality Awards. We’re on the hunt for a Kitchen All-Rounder to support our kitchen and wider hospitality team in delivering a quality customer experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and are looking to upskill in a back-of-house hospitality role, we’d love to hear from you. This role offers the potential for full- or part-time hours, working on a rotating roster from Tuesday to Sunday, between 8 am and 10 pm. Key Responsibilities * Line & prep cooking: Prepare menu items while maintaining food quality, presentation, and consistency. * Kitchen support & dish hand duties: Operate the commercial dishwasher, clean and sanitise kitchen equipment and spaces, manage storage systems, and assist with general kitchen tasks. * Teamwork & communication: Work closely with the kitchen and FOH teams on a rotating roster. * Health & safety: Maintain food control standards and contribute to a safe working environment.
