We are looking for a Project Manager/Estimator to join our growing team based in Hamilton. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running to represent and develop our growing brand with both customers and our team. The role allows you to play a crucial role in managing and developing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring efficient resource allocation, maintaining financial oversight, nurturing customer relationships and fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency. Visit our website to learn more about us: https://www.protechstainless.co.nz Project Manager/Estimator key responsibilities: • Receiving and reviewing tenders • Presenting an overview to management • Estimating and quoting of workshop and site jobs • Project management of jobs • Design work and draughting • Ordering materials • QA and associated paperwork • Coordinating and liaising with the fabrication workshop team, contractors and customers to ensure alignment and seamless execution of projects About you: • Proven experience as a Project Manager/Estimator or similar role, preferably within the stainless fabrication environment • Able to read drawings and work unsupervised • SolidWorks & AutoCAD drawing skills will be very beneficial • Experience with estimator software is advantageous • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities and able to work under pressure • Good work ethic with strong interpersonal and communication skills • Motivated and customer focused • Able to participate and work in a great team environment Benefits: • Competitive salary dependent on qualifications, relevant experience, and any other skills you can bring to the business • Be part of a collaborative and innovative team culture • Modern well maintained workshop equipment Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
