Description

We're currently looking for an experienced CNC Programmer** to join our team and support our clients with precision machining and production work. As a CNC Programmer you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components in accordance with engineering specifications and production schedules. Key Responsibilities:** * Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files * Create CNC programs using appropriate software * Set up CNC machines and select appropriate tools for machining * Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure quality output * Conduct quality checks and measurements of finished parts * Troubleshoot issues and make modifications to improve efficiency or quality * Maintain machines and tools, ensuring they operate safely and effectively * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines and standards * Not afraid to get your hands dirt and Supporting machinists with general workshop duties Requirements:** * Proven experience as a CNC Programmer (minimum 2-3 years preferred) * Strong understanding of machining techniques and CNC programming software * Excellent attention to detail and quality control standards * Good communication skills and a strong work ethic * Must have a valid visa or New Zealand residency** All Applicants will have to pass a Drug Screen and MOJ Check, Please feel free to apply online or send your cv to hawkesbay@awf.co.nz
