The remuneration range for this role is $56,881 to $80,303 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience. The opportunity The Utilities Serviceperson position sits within the Utilities team who are responsible with maintaining and operating utilities assets. These consist of reservoirs, pump stations, pressure control valves, area meters and other small utilities sites. The purpose of this position is to maintain and renew utilities assets across the three waters, including diagnosis and resolution of operational failures. What's in it for you? To succeed in this role, you will have: - 8 years+ H&S management experience - Experience in managing H+S across multi-sites, and experience in industrial / construction environments would be preferred. - A related H+S qualification/certificate is ideal - A solid understanding of New Zealand H&S legislation and compliance requirements. - Excellent communication skills — able to influence, educate, and engage others. - Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and confidence with reporting systems. - A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently when required. - Full, clean driver’s licence and flexibility to travel nationally. - Be an NZ resident, citizen, or have an open work visa.
