Our client is seeking an experienced Truck Dispatcher for a well-established transport company based in Penrose, Auckland. The role involves scheduling and coordinating a fleet of trucks, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and to customer requirements. We are opening to considering Junior Dispatchers through to more senior / experienced candidates. Key Responsibilities - Plan and allocate daily jobs and routes for drivers. - Monitor schedules and adjust as required to meet deadlines. - Communicate with drivers and customers regarding delivery details. - Ensure compliance with safety and transport regulations. - Maintain accurate records and documentation. Requirements - Experience in transport dispatch or logistics coordination. - Good knowledge of the trucking industry and local/regional routes. - Strong communication and organisational skills. - Proven literacy and numeracy abilities. - Ability to work accurately under pressure.
