We have a **coverpool** position avaliable working **Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday- 0800-1200.** Our Housekeepers play a crucial role in ensuring our villages are presented to a standard that is good enough for mum and dad. The Role | Te Mahi We are currently seeking Room Attendants for the Sudima Kaikōura Hotel. Working as a valuable member of our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for providing timely, hygienic cleaning, servicing and presentation of guest rooms and hotel public areas, along with reporting any health and safety issues and maintenance or technical needs within your work area. Your days will be active but never too busy for a warm welcome to our guests, check-in with your manager or teammates or a shared lunch with your hotel colleagues to celebrate a birthday or a job well done. About The Role - Te mahi We are currently seeking applications for our Room Attendant roles at our Beautiful Sudima Christchurch Airport Hotel. These entry-level roles do not require any prior hotel experience as full training will be provided. You will however need to have a positive attitude and be fit and active for the role, reliable and embrace our company values. This is a part-time role (minimum hours per week is 20 hours) paying $26.00 per hour and needs 7 day roster availability. As a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant, you'll be a key part of creating a clean, uplifting, and homelike environment for residents, their whānau, and fellow team members. Your day-to-day activities will include: • Ensuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, laundry, and kitchen facilities • Laundering, folding and returning residents’ clothing and linens with care and attention • Labelling, mending and maintaining residents' personal laundry items • Supporting infection control measures and health and safety procedures • Building friendly, respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needs • This is a Casual role working on an as and when needed basis.
