Legendary Boland MM100 Bookshelf Speakers With Passive Sub. Lovely Lovely Sound!

I've got a real thing for Boland speakers. Peter Boland was manufacturing world-class speakers right here in New Zealand back in the 1980s and 1990s (and probably well beyond that) and put together some incredible sounding floorstanders. He's still around up in Waihi, but long since retired...but his incredible audio legacy lives on. Heck, I drove all the way from Wellington to Tauranga to pick these up, because I just HAD to hear them. And they sound fantastic! This is the 5th pair of Boland speakers that I’ve owned, and if I had more space I'd keep them all. But alas, I'm only allowed one pair of speakers permanently in my lounge. But my loss is your gain. If you're a budding audiophile looking for something well beyond decent for your dollars, then you simply MUST give these a listen. Because Boland are the Bees Knees. I just love these, and rate them higher than any of the other speakers I've got listed for the same $$$ to be honest. Woofers and tweeters sound awesome and are in great condition, and give a very balanced sound. The imaging on these is superb; and they sound just as devastatingly good whether I'm playing Miles Davis or Grace Jones. I love these and will be sad to see them go.
