Parmenter Sound Fat Boy Slim speakers which are a custom design & the little brother to the Fat Boy horn speakers. They use a professional 12 inch dual concentric driver with compression horn tweeter - P.AUDIO BM12CX38 - which is very dynamic & easy to drive at 99dB sensitivity & 8 ohms but also handle higher power amplification. See specification sheet in the first link below for more details. The custom designed crossover uses Duelund VSF copper capacitors made in Denmark, & Mills resistors. Binding posts are High Purity CMC PURE Copper – see links below for more details on these components. They are beautifully crafted cabinets by a professional cabinet maker with a total height of 1025mm including the Black Diamond racing cone footers, width of 385mm, & depth of 305mm. They sound as good as they look & are very versatile on amplification with anything from 20w to as high as 150w. I have used them with a Plinius SA50 solid state & Audio Research Ref 110 valve amp & they were excellent with both. A friend borrowed them & tried them with his Shindo GM70 10w SET amp & they weren’t out of place & were driven fine being well suited to low power valve amps. They are not fussy on placement & will work in a medium to larger sized room. Original sale price was approximately $12,000 & the last photo shows them when new & in front of the Fat Boy horn speakers. The following link is a recent Q&A with Jason Parmenter & provides some background on the origins of the Fat Boy speakers & the Fat Boy Slims. https://www.witchdoctor.co.nz/2025/ I don't have packaging for them but can ship if the buyer arranges packing & shipping.
