**The Opportunity:** This is a pivotal position for an experienced Lead Estimator & Designer with deep shop drawing expertise and in-house design experience. You'll be joining a business at the forefront of commercial window and door solutions, with a strong pipeline of work including large-scale public buildings, heritage redevelopments, and landmark apartments. Your dual capability in technical design (ideally using Revit) and project estimation/quantity surveying will make you a key player from concept through to fabrication and install. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, and internal production teams to bring complex glazing systems to life. **What You'll Be Doing:** * Producing accurate and detailed shop drawings for aluminium window and door systems. * Interpreting architectural documentation to develop compliant and cost-effective design solutions. * Leading the estimating and tendering process - including quantity take-offs and pricing. * Working cross-functionally with project managers, suppliers, and technical teams. * Driving efficiencies in design and estimation workflows to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. **What We're Looking For:** * Proven experience producing shop drawings in a manufacturing environment - ideally aluminium, glazing, or façade. * Strong Revit skills and the ability to lead detailed technical design processes. * A solid background in estimating or QS roles within the construction or windows/doors sector. * Understanding of NZ building codes and commercial construction practices. * Confident communicator with a knack for problem-solving and cross-team coordination. **Why Apply?** * Work on some of Wellington's most significant commercial construction projects. * Enjoy a leadership role in a collaborative and quality-focused environment. * Be part of a company with a strong industry reputation and a full pipeline of upcoming work. * Competitive salary and long-term development opportunities.
