About the Role
Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Junior Project Engineer role just for you! In this position, you’ll get to provide technically appropriate and cost-effective drawings, specifications, reports, engineering investigations and solutions to meet practical construction and/or tendering requirements, making a real impact.
Preparing technical documentation in accordance with the best engineering practice.
Reviewing engineering work and advising on design outputs.
Carrying out conceptual design, promoting concepts and expertise to prospective clients as agreed with leading bid teams as necessary.
Providing technical support and assistance to estimators, maintenance and construction staff, sub-contractors and project managers.
Understanding and implementing the company health and safety policy and taking reasonable care of own health and safety and the health and safety of others.
Complying and cooperating with any reasonable instruction, policy, statement or procedure by the company to allow it to comply with its duties and obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Omexom integrated management system.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and/or a proven track of engineering design in the Electrical Power Sector
A sound knowledge of industry, technical, and procedural and product issues.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
