Electrical Asset Surveyor Are you a qualified electrician looking for something different from the usual? What you’ll do - Carry out inspections, surveys, and maintenance activities on distribution and substation assets (overhead lines, poles, ground-mounted equipment). - Conduct pole strength testing and identify asset defects. - Record findings using software and reporting tools. - Work with technical representatives in regular review meetings. - Use and maintain specialist equipment, always keeping safety front of mind. This role suits someone with a full EWRB electrical licence who doesn’t mind being on the tools, whether that’s fault-finding wiring issues, fixing pumps, or getting stuck into general servicing and repairs. If you’ve got a background in electrical work and enjoy variety, this could be the perfect fit.
