What you’ll do: * Win the right work: originate, qualify and close medium–large C&I and Agri projects (tenders, direct and partner-led). * Lead with credibility: uncover client drivers, build bankable business cases (payback/LCOE/IRR) and craft clear, value-led proposals. * Orchestrate outcomes: work with design, engineering and delivery to turn intent into robust, buildable solutions. * Grow relationships that last: exec teams, farmers, facility managers, councils, lines companies and funders. * Champion better practice: ethical procurement, waste minimization and stewardship built into every deal. * Own your patch: build and manage your pipeline, forecast accurately, and hit targets without cutting corners. What you’ll bring * Proven B2B sales success in one or more: solar/renewables, electrical/engineering, power sector, agriculture, industrial, sustainability or commercial finance * Gravitas with both boardrooms and farmyards — confident presenter, trusted adviser, straight talker. * Commercial acumen: comfortable discussing tariffs, demand profiles, capex/opex and risk; able to build financial models and produce clear proposals using MS Office tools. * Technical curiosity: you don’t need to be an engineer, but you'll enjoy learning how systems work and how standards/grid requirements affect design. * Values alignment: integrity over volume; you’ll walk away rather than sell something that isn’t right. * Self-motivated and results-driven, with the discipline to manage pipeline and performance. * Ability to be based from our Rangiora head office, with willingness to travel semi-regularly across Canterbury and the wider South Island.
