He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role: As a Structures Inspector, you’ll carry out inspections and audits across KiwiRail’s civil infrastructure – from bridges and tunnels to retaining walls and culverts. Your work ensures the integrity and safety of these vital structures by identifying faults, diagnosing risks, and planning the necessary repairs or maintenance. You’ll coordinate closely with engineers, field teams, and contractors to keep the network safe and compliant. This role also includes emergency inspections, short- and medium-term planning, and contributing to a collaborative and safety-first team culture. Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | What you will bring: We’re looking for someone who is safety-conscious, observant, and confident working both independently and with others.
