Chouchou (pronounced “shoe shoe”) is an all-day cafe, bar and brasserie, trading from breakfast through dinner. Located on Wellington’s waterfront inside the newly refurbished Circa Theatre, our menu will be based around taking the French classics and adding; cheekiness, flair, fun and amazing presentation. We’re seeking experienced Chefs to join our kitchen team in full and part-time roles. Chouchou has hours available at all times of the day, everyday of the week as it will be an all-day trading venue. As our chef, you’ll craft delicious, high-quality dishes that keep guests coming back for more. You’ll bring creativity to the kitchen, helping develop exciting new menu items while keeping things clean, organized, and efficient. With strong leadership and a passion for flavor, you’ll ensure top-notch service and an unforgettable dining experience! Skills and experience: * You’ll have at least 2 years experience working in commercial kitchens * French cooking techniques - desired * Patisserie and pastry experience - desired * Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment We’re only seeking good sorts…those who will work as part of the team and help build a supportive and fun culture.
