**About the Role** We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Barista. This is a Casual position. *In this role you will:* - Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the café for residents, relatives and visitors - Experience making coffee essential - Promote a welcoming and caring atmosphere within the village - Be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the café - Work closely with, and support your colleagues **About You** *To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:* - Previous experience as a Barista in a busy cafe environment - Outstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food service - Strong empathy with a friendly and approachable demeanour - A reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Please note that, although we often welcome applications from overseas candidates, due to immigration requirements, we require applicants to have New Zealand work rights for this position. **About Ryman** At Ryman, we believe the measure of a full life is one that gets richer with age.
