Serving the region since 1985 Qube Forestry is part of the Qube network a leader in integrated logistics solutions. **About the Role** **Position:** Diesel Mechanic We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to help maintain our modern fleet of trucks—predominantly Kenworths. You’ll be working in a fully equipped workshop with access to high-quality tooling and support though you’ll need to bring your own toolbox. **Location:** Gisborne Qube Forestry Workshop **Status:** Full-time Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays and after-hours work as required. Standard hours are 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM with flexibility around start and finish times. (Please note that the operation is 7-day week 24-hour so flexibility is needed) **Specific Responsibilities** * Servicing and repairing a fleet of modern trucks (predominantly Kenworth) * Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues * Replacing and repairing components * Supporting fleet operations in a busy high-performing environment **Who we're after:** We’re seeking candidates who are either Level 4 NZQA Road Transport Certified or have 5–10 years of hands-on experience working with diesel trucks.
