About the Role Our client specialises in imported timber and seeks a skilled Timber Machinist for their Papakura site. You'll set up and run machinery to produce high quality timber products, ensuring minimal waste and maximum efficiency. Duties * Plan and process daily jobs to meet targets * Set up and operate planers, bandsaws & CNC machines * Perform quality checks throughout production * Handle packing tasks (strapping, grading, tallying) * Assist with general factory duties and training as needed Days and Hours * Monday - Friday * Overtime available * Morning/Day time hours Skills and Experience * NZQA Level 4 Timber Machinist (or equivalent) * Hands on experience with timber machinery * Familiarity with timber types, sizes & safety procedures * Basic computer machine operation Successful Applicants Must * Be self motivated and reliable * Work accurately under pressure * Communicate well and support team goals * Demonstrate strong organization and time management If you are interested in this role, please apply now with your current CV.
