About the Role: Reporting directly to the Works Manager, the Process Manager is responsible for monitoring and improving quality at our Napier Plant as we pursue world Best Practice standards in the manufacture of fertiliser and sulphuric acid. The role will challenge us on how we can be better, smarter & faster; while enhancing health & safety and environmental practices. This role offers an exciting environment where innovation and continuous improvement are essential. Key Responsibilities: * Continually improve the efficiency of the plant along with reducing the operating costs and enhancing the quality and environmental performance of the production processes. * Responsible for process design and optimization on the works site and leading a team to manage initiatives identified as longer term needs in the manufacture process. * Provide diagnostic advice and solutions for immediate processing problems, achieving innovation in systems and processes and providing technical and chemical support to the works team. * Manage and lead the laboratory team and process engineer to ensure all functions and services are provided to support the works operation * Collaborate with the National Technical team to implement improvements across Ravensdown's manufacturing sites. About You: You are a dynamic chemical engineer and detail-oriented professional with a passion for optimizing processes and driving efficiency. With a proven track record in process management, you excel at identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions that enhance productivity and streamline operations. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen eye for detail. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that process improvements align with organizational goals and deliver measurable results. About the opportunity Fully Equipped is New Zealand's leading light-commercial and 4WD vehicle accessory manufacturer and distributor. Based in Hamilton, we have been proudly making Crown Canopies and Tuf Dek liners for over 30 years. Alongside this, we distribute both our manufactured products and a comprehensive range of imported products, through our nationwide chain of sales and fitting centres. We are seeking fibreglass composites technicians with at least 3 years relevant experience to join our canopy manufacturing team. Your job will involve all aspects of fibreglassing including laminating, gel coating, finishing and repairs. You will also repair and maintain the moulds in an efficient manner, as well as maintaining and servicing gel coat laminating equipment. This is a full-time, permanent position. Normal hours of work will be 42.5 per week Monday to Friday. Overtime hours are usually available by choice. Employment is guaranteed for a minimum of 30 hours per week. The minimum rate of pay is $32.00 per hour to a maximum of $34.00 per hour, based on experience.
