Retail Buyer

Manstar Trading Ltd located in Auckland, is looking for a full-time Retail Buyer to join our team. As a Retail Buyer, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week. You will be responsible for: Job Description: * Research and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and seasonal demands. * Select and purchase products in line with the company’s brand image and budget. * Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. * Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and promotional support with suppliers. * Monitor stock levels, sales performance, and markdowns to inform future buying decisions. * Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and visual teams to create cohesive product stories. * Attend trade shows, fashion weeks, or supplier meetings to discover new products and trends. * Prepare and present buying reports, forecasts, and budget proposals to management. About you * At least 3 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's Degree, or above qualification * Physically fit with a clear criminal record * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Applicants for this position should have NZ residence or a valid NZ work visa.
