Are you after a change? Are you a team player? Would you like your day to be exciting and change in a minutes notice? We have two positions available to join our team. ***The first role is for a night shift operator for towing and recovery of various sized vehicles, from small passenger vehicles to large trucks and buses. We run a modern fleet of maintained trucks from small slide decks to large heavy recovery trucks. We have an opportunity for another person to join our team around the region Full-Time hours would be a 'On call basis' with a minimum of 30 hours per week between 4pm - 7am Monday to Friday with one rostered on weekend every third week. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so applicants must be available to be on call when rostered on Ideal applicants would need to have: * Experience with medium rigid vehicles * FULL Class 2 minimum * V endorsement required (We are willing to assist in acquiring this) * Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive systems * Availability for weekend and after hours work * Fair fitness as there is some manual labour involved * High energy, efficient, reliable and punctual Towing and recovery is different everyday, you'll never know what to expect from one day to the next. So if you are sharp minded, a practical thinker under pressure please don’t hesitate to give us a call. ***Second role is for a driver for our heavy haulage transporter units. You will need experience in earthmoving gear, a keen attitude and a tidy manner. We operate with a 5 axle transporter and two low bed trailers We operate from Monday - Friday with a minimum of 40 hours with occasional weekend work. There can be some early starts and late finishes so applicants need to be flexible with start and finish times. Ideal applicant would need to have: * Experience in the earthmoving industry * Experience with loading and unloading on low bed trailers & trucks * Full class 5 minimum * Ability to work unsupervised * Ability to manage your own time * High energy, efficient, reliable and punctual Please apply by including with your application a current and up to date C.V.

We are based in Drury, Auckland and Palmerston North We are after a fulltime Class 5 Driver for our Palmerston North depot. Position Description: To follow all instructions received from the Dispatcher, Branch Manager and Operations Manager. Have the correct class licence and endorsements for the vehicle being driven and the freight carried, this must include a Forklift licence. Uphold the profile of KPH Transport to a high level with your appearance, cleanliness and professionalism. Working on a daily basis to provide the highest level of service to our customers at all times so their expectations are met. Pay rate to be negotiated upon experience - Class 5 full licence required - Must have a forklift licence (OSH) and DG preferred - Produce knowledge an advantage - Health and Safety conscious attitude to work - Must have at lest 1 years or more work experience of heavy truck driving - Availability to work on rostered night shifts including weekends and public holidays. We are a business that is operational 24/7 so we have all hours and days of work available depending on the run that is available. - Good understanding of English both oral and written Standard pre-employment background checks and drug and alcohol screening applies.
