Working directly with a tight-knit team, you will develop and enhance your trade each day. You will find yourself going across multiple sites and will be working across a variety of locations in Auckland. Responsibilities Understand instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary; Erect scaffolding and ladders, and place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering; Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper Fix woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces; Apply paints, varnishes, and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprays; hanging wallpaper, matching patterns, and trimming edges; Clean equipment and work areas Requirement and skills Must have at least two years experience An ability to work in all conditions Work usually on weekdays, but be flexible to work at weekends and public holidays when required; Health and Safety conscious; Good knowledge of painting products, Have a good eye for detail, strong knowledge of painting and decorating materials, and a good work ethic; Confidence in or willingness to improve brushing, rolling, and spraying techniques; Benefits Pay rate starts at $30-$35/hour based on experience Guaranteed minimum of 35 hours per week up to 45 hours per week 3 Position Happy and friendly, respective working environment Permanent full-time position, on-the-job training, and developments How to apply Applicants should have NZ Residency/residents.
