Own a piece of Royal History. This restored super king sized bed headboard, footboard and runners (no mattress) was made by returned servicemen, along with other furniture for government house in the 1950's. The bed is pictured in Government House in Wellington in the room occupied by Queen Elizabeth when she stayed there in 1954, for her Coronation visit at the time. The dimensions are: Headboard 1420mm high, 50mm wide, 1880mm long Footboard 710mm high, 45mm wide, 1825mm long Heavy. Buyer will need to organise uplift.
