Australian Arts & Crafts Blackwood Sideboard

Arts and Crafts Blackwood sideboard of asymmetrical shape with hand-carved "trees" panels and original copper metalwork. Sympathetically re-finished c.1910. Top section - central panel carved with trees in relief flanked by curved slats. Cupboard on LHS also with carved trees panel. Bottom section comprises cupboard on LHS with two carved tree and fence panels and two drawers above open compartment on RHS. Original copper hardware with simulated rivets and circular cutouts. Bottom section measures 1530mm across, 555 mm deep and 990mm high. Top section measures 795mm high and widest section is 335mm deep. Pick up only from Lawrence, Otago.
