The Company Topcoat Specialist Coatings (South Island) Ltd is a leader in the application of industrial specialist coatings – including epoxy floor coatings, resin toppings, waterproofing systems, intumescent coatings, and concrete repairs. The Job As a specialist coatings applicator, you will work within a team to: • Measure areas, and calculate product quantity consumptions • Use allocated materials, products, tools, and equipment to complete the preparation and application of specialist floor coatings, waterproofing systems, intumescent, and concrete floor repairs • Follow project and health & safety documentation and processes • Clean and maintain tools and equipment • Ensure quality assurance • Communicate with other staff members and clients This role is based in Queenstown with job locations varying across the Otago region and some travel and time working away from home may be required. This will be discussed in advance and allowances will be provided. Hours will be a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week (excluding overtime). Any overtime hours will be paid at ordinary rate. Starting rate of $28.00 gross per hour, negotiable depending on individual experience. Occasional weekend work will be available. Current membership of 430. About the Role This role supports the existing Greenkeeper in being responsible for the maintenance, care and overall appearance of the Taieri Lakes Golf Course. The greenkeeper is charged with maintaining a good playing surface to ensure the course offers a consistent challenge and an enjoyable experience to golfers. We are seeking an experienced tiler to join our team, working on a variety of projects, such as group home builds, high-end residential projects, renovations and commercial developments in the Bay of Plenty area.
