If you’re experienced in profiling/setting out of building foundations, or house relevelling or underpinning and have the ability to read foundation plans (or want to learn), we’d love to hear from you. While having an LBP is a bonus, it’s not a requirement, but some prior building experience is a must. Leading hand - We need someone with a good technical knowledge of foundations and piling and has the ability to run a small team. Five years minimum of experience is required. You should: * Be familiar with plans and geotechnical reports * Have hands-on experience with various piling methods and equipment * The ability to supervise a small team of workers * Happy to be on the tools and lead from the front Individuals - Happy to train but must have at least 2 years proven building experience. You should: * Be willing to listen and learn * Always be a team player * Have great time management and like to get the job done. It is essential that any individual joining us is experienced in working in any weather and all types of sites, including mud, steep and rocky terrain. This is a labour intensive job. Great wages will be negotiated for the right person. The work is based in Northland, and you will travel back and forth each day to the site in most situations, from our yard. You must have your own vehicle to get to and from our yard. Where the site is too far away and the team have to stay over, transport will be provided along with accommodation and food. There is a good solid pipeline of work that will keep you busy. The team is responsible for installing and upgrading valves and pipes for our clean water system in and around Palmerston North.  Duties: * Manual digging to expose old water pipes and valves. * Assisting and spotting for heavy machinery. * Use of hand tools to replace old equipment. * Installing new pipes and valves. As a Scaffolder your job duties typically include stacking and moving items throughout the scaffold yard and on site, fulfilling general maintenance tasks as required, all while adhering to safety policies. You will also be required onsite building and maintaining scaffold. We're looking for someone with Tube and Clip experience and must have Working at Heights Ticket and Site Safe. Physical strength is an essential requirement of someone working in this industry. You will be expected to perform many tasks that may not be related to each other.
