**About the Role** We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team in a Lead Maintenance role. This is a Full time position working Monday to Friday 0800-1630 In this role you will: - Lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide the village with efficient and effective maintenance services, ensuring that facilities and grounds are fit for purpose and provide a safe environment for all - Complete the planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment programme by working with the Ryman Property team and Facilities Manager - Be a health & safety champion by ensuring that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to by staff and contractors, always providing a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors - Form strong relationships and work closely with and support your team and colleagues **About Ryman** At Ryman, we believe the measure of a full life is one that gets richer with age. We are looking for a handyman/hammer hand with experience to join our team. The main point of work is based in Petone but with work at other sites throughout Wellington CBD and Hutt Valley. The role will involve (but is not limited to) assisting a builder at properties carrying out renovations and repairs, painting, lawn mowing, building wash down, weed eating, hedge trimming, window cleaning, general cleaning, water blasting, working on ladder etc. Start time 11.00am Monday to Friday, finish times may vary but could be around 7.30pm We need someone who: Has experience on building sites Has drivers license (restricted or higher) Able to deliver services to a high standard Able to follow instructions and communicate clearly (as you may be working independently, we need someone who can communicate what they have completed, provide photographs to show us the work, and can complete services with minimal supervision) Can pass police vetting and drug testing

Handy Build Wellington is on the hunt for more handy-people to repair, maintain and improve a wide range of residential and commercial property. A trade background would be beneficial, but not essential. More importantly you will require the "knack" and have a passion to fix a wide variety of things. Some jobs will be entirely managed by yourself and some jobs will be working as part of a team. Theres a mix of outdoor and indoor work through all seasons, and we carry out a variety of roof maintenance works so experience working at heights will be ideal. We use job scheduling software for our work, via a simple app on your phone. You can easily see what jobs are coming up next with relevant details, clock in en-route to the job, clock-out and add pics once completed. We'll provide all training required, it really is quite easy to use. This is a Contracting position with the intention to provide ongoing/indefinite work. We are looking for another member to join our busy workshop team. We require someone who is hands on & experienced with repairing, dismantling and working on farm machinery. Experience, can-do attitude and ability to work with a small fast paced team is more important than qualifications. The role will include but not be limited to; - Hay mower & Hay Baler dismantling. - Hay mower servicing and rebuilds. - Sorting of parts and labeling. - General yard duties. Good workshop and amenities, small team and about 10 min east of Invercargill on SH1. The role will typically be Monday- Friday and will be on-site only. Vehicle allowance considered if needed.
