About the Role At Logan Campbell Retirement Village in Greenlane, Auckland we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a experienced Maintenance Person. This is a full-time position working 0800 - 1630 Monday to Friday. In this role you will: * Work in a team providing the village with an effective maintenance/preventative maintenance service ensuring the safety, repair and appearance of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds * Assist residents in their homes with repairs and maintenance * Ensure that all health and safety policies are adhered to, to ensure the safety of residents, staff and visitors * Work closely with and support your colleagues About You To thrive in our varied environment you will have: * Previous experience in a Maintenance role, a trade qualification or just completed an apprenticeship * Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude * Proven customer service skills and ability to build rapport with residents * Outstanding communication skills * The ability to work in a team environment or autonomously as required * Reliable, friendly and professional manner About Ryman At Ryman, we believe the measure of a full life is one that gets richer with age. Handy Build Wellington is on the hunt for more handy-people to repair, maintain and improve a wide range of residential and commercial property. A trade background would be beneficial, but not essential. More importantly you will require the "knack" and have a passion to fix a wide variety of things. Some jobs will be entirely managed by yourself and some jobs will be working as part of a team. Theres a mix of outdoor and indoor work through all seasons, and we carry out a variety of roof maintenance works so experience working at heights will be ideal. We use job scheduling software for our work, via a simple app on your phone. You can easily see what jobs are coming up next with relevant details, clock in en-route to the job, clock-out and add pics once completed. We'll provide all training required, it really is quite easy to use. This is a Contracting position with the intention to provide ongoing/indefinite work.
