Orly Boutique is looking for full-time and part-time experienced and passionate nail technicians to join our friendly team. We are focused on providing exceptional quality and care to all our clients hands and feet needs, who walk through the door. What we NEED for the Nail Technician role: You must be confident in providing both manicure and pedicure services. Ideally you will have experience in extensions as well but attention to detail and a willing to learn/improve is the most important thing to us!!! You must be able to communicate well with clients about services and treatments and up-sell beauty products You must be able to handle high volume customer traffic as we are extremely busy salons! You must have a valid NZ work visa Bonus skills we'd love you to have (but not required): Previous salon experience, beauty salon or nail salon (we are happy to take on students from beauty school!) Experience in providing acrylic nail services Previous experience or understanding of the Kitomba salon software The successful applicant will obtain the following skills: Up to date on-site upskilling Experience in a busy salon environment The applicant must be experienced, creative, passionate and confident in basic nail techniques including, BIAB, french manicures, gel manicures, pedicures and nail art (please note: we do NOT use SNS in our salons). We are open 6 days a week and 2 late nights - working either a late night or a Saturday would be ideal but open to flexible work schedules! Orly Boutique offers commission based work ONLY. Ensure that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitised after each use. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. - Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment. - Supervise apprentices and trainees. REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS: - Minimum of two years work experience as a Hairdresser or relevant level 5 qualification. - High standard of personal hygiene and presentation. - Ability to thrive in a small, high-paced, and high-volume environment. - Punctual, organised, and capable of multitasking with attention to detail. - Team player with effective communication skills. - Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts suitable for all hair lengths and types. - Good time management skills so that clients are not kept waiting. - Ability to work a flexible schedule. - Ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
