ABOUT THE ROLE: We are currently seeking at least five (5) talented and passionate hairdressers to join our dynamic team in Auckland. As a Hairdresser at Bhonsle Enterprises Limited, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity while delivering exceptional hair care services to our valued clientele. From cutting and styling to colouring and treatments, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients look and feel their best. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING TASKS TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD: - Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences and give recommendations. - Provide a range of hair care services, including cutting, styling, colouring, and treatments. - Shave, trim and shape clients' beards and moustaches. - Provide face, scalp and neck massages. - Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hairdressing. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the salon. Ensure that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitised after each use. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. - Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment. - Supervise apprentices and trainees. REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS: - Minimum of two years work experience as a Hairdresser or relevant level 5 qualification. - High standard of personal hygiene and presentation. - Ability to thrive in a small, high-paced, and high-volume environment. - Punctual, organised, and capable of multitasking with attention to detail. - Team player with effective communication skills. - Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts suitable for all hair lengths and types. - Good time management skills so that clients are not kept waiting. - Ability to work a flexible schedule. - Ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
