We have an exciting role available to join the team as a Gardening and Soft Landscaping All-Rounder. A great opportunity for someone with a passion for gardening to be involved in a wide range of gardening and soft landscaping projects along with hard landscaping and other outdoor maintenance tasks in the mix from time to time. This role also involves 4-5 days per week (32-45 hours) to meet growing client demand in Wellington. What You’ll Be Doing: While the role focusses on gardening (garden maintenance, one off tidy ups, section clearing, tree work and more) and soft landscaping (planting, soil conditioning, mulching and more) you’ll also from time to time work on a variety of outdoor jobs, including: • Landscaping Construction – Paving, retaining walls, garden edging, and more. • Other Outdoor Services – Water-blasting, rubbish removal, house washing, and more. Every day will bring something different, keeping your work varied and interesting. About You: We’re looking for someone who is: • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. • A team player who enjoys working alongside others. • Reliable, punctual, and dependable, with a great attitude. • Willing to get stuck in and take pride in their work. • Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team and happy to help out wherever needed. • Full driver’s licence required, and ability to drive a manual vehicle. • Able to meet at our base and occasionally travel to job sites. • Gardening experience essential. YOUR MONTHLY TASKS MAY INCLUDE: • Gardening - from weeding, planting to everything in between • Lawn cutting, weed management, seeding and full lawn development • Irrigation installation and repairs • Minor amenity tree maintenance • Hedge trimming • Identifying and managing plant pests and diseases • Talking with our customers and responding to their garden requests and questions • Working within our friendly team daily! Maintenance/Gardener

We have two positions available to work on a residential property in north Upper Hutt. These positions would suit those who can work unsupervised, have practical skills and use their initiative. The Maintenance/Cleaner duties include: • Maintaining a pool and spa pool. • Outdoor cleaning including buildings, tiles, windows, pergola, BBQ. • Limited garden work/weedspray. • Organising and working with outside contractors for exterior building washing, gutter clearing and tennis court maintenance. • Other general property maintenance duties. The Gardeners position includes: • Mowing and maintaining lawns. • Weedspraying. • Tree pruning. • General basic property maintenance work. The days of the week that this work is to be done is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We envisage that the work would average out to two full days per week for each position but the hours per day would vary to adjust for the seasons/workload. As these are new positions we are unable to offer a guaranteed number of hours, so would suit someone with flexibility in their work. Pay rate would be up to $30 per hour.
