At Downer, you'll be hands-on with the latest in Intelligent Transport Systems, ensuring our roads are smarter, safer, and more efficient. As an electrical engineer you will be responsible for: * Establishing delivery and installation schedules for machines, switchgear, cables and fittings * Supervising the operation and maintenance of power stations, transmission and distribution systems and industrial plants * Interpreting specifications, drawings, standards and regulations relating to electric power equipment and use * Organising and managing resources used in the supply of electrical components, machines, appliances and equipment This is a guaranteed Full-Time role - minimum 40 hours per week Pay range: $40 - $47 per hour **Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills** You will be a team player with an organised and systematic approach to the working environment You must have: * A qualification in electrical engineering, (NZQF Level 7 or higher) * Class 1 full license * Flexibility is needed as this role will require some night shift work and travel/working away * 3 years relevant experience in power electronic design or equivalent Beneficial for the role: * Be reliable and hard working * Experience with traffic systems * Good communication skills **Ko wai mātou | Our Organisation** **** Want to know more about what it is like to work at Downer?
