We're on the lookout for a Head Chef in Porirua who can take charge of our kitchen operations while keeping the food delicious, consistent, and great value. This isn't fine dining it's all about good, satisfying meals made with care and served with pride to our loyal members and customers. About us (Chi siamo noi) We are looking for an Experienced Qualified Chef and Pizza Chef to join our friendly team for 30- 40 hours per week. This is not your typical café role, this position is key to support the already steady growth of the business. Since 2011, Bongusto Pasta Workshop and Café has been successfully bringing you pizza and pasta with market-fresh, all-natural ingredients. Our owner has over 35 years experience in the hospitality industry. Our café and catering business have been operating since 2011, and has been growing over the years. We are considered an iconic café in Miramar. Our fine products are distributed at selected supermarkets and we have loyal customers who come back time and time again to experience not only our exceptional food but our friendly service and culture that we pride ourselves on. Our hours are Monday to Saturday 7am -3pm, with a late night Pizza night shifts available Friday nights. This provides great flexibility and a balanced lifestyle for our team members.
