JIMMY JACKS RIB SHACK, WHANGAREI We require an experienced Chef de Partie to join the team in our busy kitchen. This is a full-time position, 30-40 hours per week, pay rate depends upon experience, qualifications and ability, and is expected to be between $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Applicants must have 2 years’ experience working as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fast-paced restuarant kitchen involving both fry and grill work, salads, desserts, general food preparation & cooking. Key attributes are great knife skills, ability to follow prep instructions and work without supervision, be highly organised, cope well under pressure, energetic, embrace teamwork and have high food safety and hygiene standards. We trade from 11.30am so hours will vary from daytime to evening work on a 7-day roster including busy evening and weekend work, along with working on public and school holidays. You must be reliable and show respect for your team and the business by showing up for your shifts on time and have a well-mannered demeanour. Impoliteness, negative behaviour & discrimination towards others will not be tolerated.
