The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen & Cabinetry Installer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the precise and efficient installation of bespoke kitchen and cabinetry solutions in predominantly residential, and some commercial, settings. While based out of Wellington, this role will involve travel to various project sites across New Zealand. This is a hands-on role requiring a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both autonomously and as a valuable team member. You will also have the opportunity to share your expertise by training and mentoring apprentices, helping to shape the next generation of installers. Key Responsibilities: -Accurate measurement, cutting, and assembly of custom kitchen and cabinetry components. -Precise installation of a wide range of cabinetry, benchtops, and associated fittings. -Working with various materials, ensuring high-quality finishes. -Liaising effectively with clients, site managers, and the internal team to ensure seamless project execution. -Troubleshooting and problem-solving on-site to address any unforeseen challenges. -Ensuring all installations meet quality standards, specifications, and deadlines. -Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. -Mentoring and guiding apprentices, sharing best practices and industry knowledge. Skills & Experience Required: -Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in kitchen and cabinetry installation. -Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. -Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. -Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with clients and team members. -A trade qualification in Joinery or Cabinetry is highly preferred. -A full, clean New Zealand Driver's License is essential. -Ownership of your own tools is preferred. -Demonstrated ability to work both independently on tasks and collaboratively within a team environment. -Experience or a strong willingness to train and mentor junior staff/apprentices. -Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy materials safely.
