We are a busy café located in Takapuna Auckland looking for two Cafe Supervisors/ Baristas to join our friendly team. These are permanent positions offering between 30 to 40 hours per week at a pay rate of $24.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, crafting quality beverages, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment, we want to hear from you. Key responsibilities will include: * Supervise café staff to ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to company procedures. * Coordinate staff rosters, manage shift changes, and ensure adequate staffing during service periods. * Take customer orders, process payments, and provide service support during peak times. * Ensure all food and beverage preparation areas comply with hygiene and safety regulations. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation. * Train new staff in café procedures, customer service standards, and safe food handling practices. * Resolve customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary. * Ensure all café equipment is clean, well-maintained, and operated safely. * Complete end-of-day cash reconciliations and assist with basic financial reporting as delegated. * Prepare and serve coffee and beverages to a high standard. * Deliver exceptional customer service and manage transactions efficiently. * Uphold food safety and workplace health standards at all times.
