A quite neat original painting that is signed, what I think, is Doris Dutch - Titled, Alleyway On The Hill - Pen and wash original artwork as per photos. (camera flashes can lighten up or change its looks, so if exact colours & shades are important to you do not bid or buy) looking at her signature and examples on the webb, I think this is the well known NZ artist Doris Dutch. I understand the Doris was actually born in England but worked here in New Zealand with art & pottery. But you do your own research and decide for yourself what is what (so sold as is, whatever or whoever it is) This is an original artwork - I think the art work is well done. It does look good. The painting or art work looks reasonably good. There are little marks and spots on the card surround, but the artwork itself is basically fine, odd little mark, but basically fine and quite livable to hang up on display. The card surround might clean up a bit if the glass was cleaned on the inside, but again, I still think it is all quite livable. It is glassed. The frame has minor marks, scrapes, wear & tear etc, needs a clean etc but again, basically fine. There are many photos to give a good indication of condition, so have a look at all the photos to help you make up your own mind regards its condition, use or interest to you. The frame measures approx 465mm odd x 300mm odd. Inside the frame is approx 420mm odd x 320mm odd and what you can actually see of the artwork itself is approx 290mm x 195mm odd. A good collectable piece for the right person or place. We allow pickups, but if you can not pickup or do not want to, we can send for you on your behalf, at your risk, as NZ Post does not cover original artworks.
