About the role: This position is to fill a role based in the Waikato Region. The role is permanent full-time, with guarantee of 40 hours per week plus rostered Saturday work. Your package will include competitive hourly rates ranging from NZ$ 30 to NZ$ 32 per hour. As a Wastewater Technician, your role will be mainly to service our customers in an efficient and safe manner and to complete duties as specified below. • Maintain and service On site Waste Water Treatment Systems • Maintain and Service pump chambers • Assess and Dye test Gravity Fed systems • Maintain and repair submersible pumps, air blowers and controllers. • Strong fault-finding skills and focus on delivering high quality work. • Have the ability to be self-managing and work independently. • Be proactive and able to demonstrate good judgement. • Be fit and healthy, with no prior injuries and consent to random drug screening About you Experience in the service industry, especially servicing electrical equipment including submersible pumps is an advantage but not a necessity as all training is given. You must also have a positive attitude and be keen to learn. Bring your work ethic, and we will provide you with all the training and experience you need to build a career at HydroVac. A Full Class 1 Drivers Licence is required as a company vehicle is provided. You get to take the van home each day but is provided for work use only. All tools to do the job are provided with a fully stocked van. We currently have one excellent tech based in Hamilton so looking for someone to support him as our business continues to grow in this region.
