We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Light Vehicle Diesel and Petrol Mechanic to join our dynamic team. If you’re passionate about Automotive Industries and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: *     Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles (cars, trucks, etc.). *     Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs. *     Replace or repair parts such as brake pads, engines, exhaust systems, and transmissions. *     Maintain and update repair records and ensure all work is completed to the highest standard. *     Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues and repairs to clients clearly and professionally. *     Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. *     Work as part of a team to achieve company goals and provide excellent service to our customers. Requirements: *     Proven experience as a mechanic. Certification in automotive repair is a plus but not required. *     Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques. *     Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment efficiently. *     Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. *     Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and team members. *     Valid driver’s license. *     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

You will also: * Have a valid and current full drivers license. * Strong IT skills using Microsoft Office suite. * Satisfactory level of fitness for accessing field monitoring points and a willingness to be able to work outdoors in varied conditions. * Ability to safely drive a 4WD under site conditions. * Tertiary qualifications in Applied Sciences or equivalent science discipline highly desirable.
