EXCAVATOR OPERATOR – CIVIL CONSTRUCTION $28–$36/hr depending on experience | 45+ hours per week | Long-term opportunity We’re on the hunt for skilled Excavator Operators who know their way around a machine but are also willing to get stuck in on the ground. This is a great opportunity with a respected civil contractors offering consistent hours, a supportive team environment, and long-term potential. About the Role: - Operate 5T–20T excavators across drainage, roading, and earthworks projects - Assist with ground tasks such as pipe work, spotting, and general labouring when machines are not in use - Support the site team to meet project deadlines and daily targets - Work a minimum of 45 hours per week Key Duties: - Trenching, backfilling, and site preparation - Digging around services and reading site plans - Assisting drainage crews and spotting for machinery - Liaising with the site foreman to ensure job progression What We’re Looking For: - Proven experience operating excavators in civil construction - Confidence working around services and to set levels - WTR endorsement and a full driver’s licence - Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to help on the ground - Drainage experience is a strong advantage What’s on Offer: - Long-term, steady work with a well-established company - A variety of work – every day brings something new - A great team culture where your skills are valued - Opportunity to move into a permanent position If you’re a reliable and motivated individual who is keen to get stuck in, we’d love to hear from you!
